Located in the gated Mountain Air community with 1374 sq. ft. of living space, you’l love the beautiful mountain sunset views from its living room and private balcony. This top-floor unit boasts vaulted ceilings, stone fireplace, a well-appointed kitchen and three Smart TVs connected to the free WiFi.

KITCHEN: Fully equipped, stainless steel GE Profile appliances, double oven, dishwasher, ice maker, Biltmore cookware, spice rack, toaster, Keurig coffee maker, Ninja blender, full knife set, high-top breakfast bar, granite countertops.
MASTER BEDROOM: King bed, access to private balcony, Smart TV,, full-length mirror, en suite bathroom with double vanities, large stand-up shower.
SECOND BEDROOM: Queen bed, Smart TV, adjacent bathroom with tub and shower.
OUTDOOR LIVING: Private balcony with mountain views, bistro table set.

PARKING: Parking lot (2 vehicles, free) right in front of unit.
Other things to note
There is one flight of stairs upon entrance, then the entire living area is on one level. No smoking or pets are allowed.

The Neighborhood
The community offers on-site hiking with over 6 miles of hiking trails and 6 community parks right there in the neighborhood. Community amenities include, fire pits, pavilions with picnic tables, barbecue grills, gazebo, playground with treehouse and several viewing areas with gorgeous mountain views.
The Town
The condo is located in the quaint town of Burnsville, the center of which is only 6.5 miles away. Burnsville has a number of eclectic eateries, pubs and a microbrewery. We’ve compiled a partial list of places to eat, drink and other diversions at this link. It also has a vibrant art scene with galleries, a playhouse and various events throughout the year. Area Info
More adventure awaits by venturing out beyond the neighborhood. The are a plethora of hiking opportunities, including Pisgah National Forest, Blue Ridge Pinnacle and Rocky Knob, Appalachian Trail, and Mount Mitchell, the highest peak east of the Mississippi. World class rafting and kayaking is available on the renowned French Broad river. Zip Lining, Gem Mining, Horseback riding and Fishing is also nearby. For winter sports, there are four ski resorts within 60 miles, the closest being the newly renovated Hatley Pointe Ski Resort, only 17 miles away. Need more than that? Asheville is only 36 miles away, with multiple attractions including the Biltmore Estate, the River Arts District, and an abundance of local restaurants and breweries.
Club
The Mountain Air community and Mountain Air Country Club are two different entities. Many Mountain Air residents, such as my family, are property owners but not club members. Therefore, our guests can’t access club amenities. Fortunately there’s plenty to do and see in the neighborhood and in the town, as described above, as well as in the surrounding area. If you want to golf, you can check out nearby courses such as Mount Mitchell Golf Course.
If access to club amenities is a must for you, you can check out MountainAirHospitality.com. You may also find individual vacation rentals that offer club access. However, typically you’ll find those accommodations are substantially more expensive.
